I’m giving up my TV
A couple of years ago I was right in the middle of all this fuss about new media and podcasting that was going to revolutionise the media world and take over the old media way to produce and distribute content. I didn’t have any of my own audio shows at the time, but helped in distributing some of the other produced shows that were doing well. Lately, though, I’ve moved away from audio and got into video. Well, I suppose more accurately I’m dedicating my audio listening to my daily commute to work, but my entertainment time is all about video, particularly now that I can so easily get video onto my TV. That’s the key, getting the entertainment away from the computer onto that big rectangle I’m used to staring at most evenings. The shows are getting so good I might even gie up my cable!
