Spending tourism dollars
We need to increase eastern Iowa tourism and I think I know how. We need more advertising. Here in this part of the state we see TV ads all the time to go to Minnesota or Missouri, but none asking us to visit Iowa. You don’t have to be from out of state to be a tourist, and really wouldn’t it make more sense to spend your dollars in your own state. Why take those dollars out of state where they are not likely to return. You can have just as much fun here as anywhere, we have a little bit of everything in this state
