An important job to have is one in insurance coding. When you code insurance paperwork at a medical facility or hospital, you are the one that is telling the insurance company which items to pay for. They go by codes and if you put the wrong code in, the bill may not get paid, or the wrong amount may be put towards it. Medical coding is becoming quite popular as more and more doctor offices are hiring people specifically to come in and work in their insurance or billing department doing medical coding for the insurance billings. Many schools offer courses in coding which leads to a great career choice.
