NLNAC Accredited Nursing Programs

The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission is an organization that looks at nursing programs and determines if they meet the set forth criteria in order to be accredited. Not all nursing programs are accredited as it is not a required status. However, candidates looking to enter a nursing program should look for NLNAC accredited programs as these will all meet or exceed the standards that help to ensure the program provides a quality education in the field of nursing. Accreditation is available at all levels of education from practical nursing programs through clinical doctorate programs and criteria is continually updated as the field changes practices.
