Plants may bring new dimension to office cleaning
You may soon see an explosion of plants in offices if workers heed the facts highlighted by a national newspaper. The Flower and Plants Association recently spoke to the Guardian about the benefits that a bit of foliage can bring to offices. The group explained that plants can do much to improve air quality, which may have staff scrambling to decorate rooms with vegetation. The paper highlighted a study where employees reported an increase in their well-being three months after they bought houseplants for their work stations. Office cleaners may like to stock up on their floor cleaning equipment if this becomes a trend as no doubt, compost and plant leaves are likely to be joining the litter sometimes found on office floors.
