Bottled Water
Many people may not know this but bottled water was actually being enjoyed by people way back in the fifteenth century in Europe, with the bottled water boom taking place in the nineteenth century. One of the first to be formed and trade in bottled water was the Poland Spring Bottled Company located in Maine. Production began in 1845 when people holidaying there enjoyed drinking the water so much that they wanted to bring it home with them and share it with friends and family. Perrier Mineral water first began bottling their water in 1863. Yet another bottled water company formed in 1873 and was called Deer Park, located in western Maryland. It was a known fact that so popular was Deer Park that even President Taft went on holiday there.
