How to whiten teeth using over the counter products? If you are thinking of whitening your kids teeth, I personally think that until they are teenagers, that you should not consider any such products for your children. Their teeth are still developing and if maintained well and clean should not require the whitening options offered by most dentists. I have found that my son’s smile looks great when he constantly brushes his teeth and flosses on a regular basis. If he does not floss and misses a brushing here and there, then it shows immediately on his teeth. He is beginning to be self conscious about his looks and how the girls respond to his looks. So I think that he will maintain better hygiene and floss more consistently.
