I was looking on the Internet for places that could help me out. My friends Sally had told me about a website that would allow me to design my own engagement ring and then submit the design to a list of jewelry craftsmen who would bid on making it for me. I know it was traditionally my boyfriend’s job to get the ring, but how could a girl pass up an opportunity like this and come up with her own very special and unique ring. I really did not think he would mind my doing this. In fact, he would be relieved about not having to find one I would like.
