Can Your Deck Be Saved?
Do you have a deck that has been severely neglected? Maybe you are guilty of not having stained it in years. You meant to take better care of it, but you just never seemed to get around to it. Now it’s all gray and ugly. Is it too late to start regularly applying deck stain now, or can your deck be saved? A major factor in whether your deck can be saved is if it is rotted or not. Grayed wood doesn’t necessarily mean it’s rotted, too. It may just be sun damaged. It’s possible that your deck can still be saved by a good, professional power washing, followed by staining. Just make sure you keep your deck maintained from now on.
