Our pet Doberman loves her bed. I remember when we brought her home for the first time. She was so amazed to find a fake fur covered cushion just for her. Now that she is three, we have several beds for her.
Here are the things that we look for when purchasing a dog bed:
· Size – there are many different bed sizes available, get one that is slightly bigger then your dog.
· Fabric – select a fabric that is washable and soft to touch.
· Removable cover – I think this is a critical feature so that you can easily wash the dog bed.
· Soft filling – There are many types of filling material. I prefer the stuffing used in quilts or small cedar chips.
Dogs enjoy their dog beds as much a humans, so select your next dog bed with care. A good bed will last several years and provide your pet with many hours of comfort.
