We were just married and his mother was still trying to call the shots, I was not happy with that. We would argue frequently, finally I told him he was not married to his mother, he married me. We argued and he drove off, he always does that when he is mad. We got together and tried to start preserving love in marriage. We did not want to split, just to get through this transition period. I realized that just because we said I do, didn’t make us go to being husband and wife over night it took a transition.
