Not just for the office
I had always thought that verticle blinds were just for the office. I visited a friends house and they have a huge picture window and use verticle blinds. The blinds have wood slats and they include both valances and side curtains so they all look really great. the verticle blinds are on a motorized remote control so they can just push a button and choose to either open the slats for more light or have the blinds split from the center and open completely to provide a totally unobstructed view. I am sold now plan to consider adding verticle blinds to my windows too.
