One Of The World’s Largest Chandeliers Is The Largest Chandelier
There have been several claims on the biggest chandelier in the world but among all the lists, the chandelier located in Muscat, Oman inside the Sultan Qaboos’ Grand Mosque tops all of them. This chandelier is made of stunning Swarovski crystal with elaborate gold plated metalwork. The world’s largest chandelier hangs down for a length of 14 meters. It has a diameter of 8m to go with this height. It is so huge that it’s akin to a five-story apartment block or block of flats - a true measure for one of the largest chandeliers. It contains staircases and platforms, for easy maintenance, and has 1,200 dimmable halogen lamps triggered by more than 36 switching circuits. This massive chandelier is the most efficient way to light up an enormous space. There is no known cost but if you own a chandelier as grand as this, it’s probably just loose change.
