Tennis had a knock on effect on the chilli pepper seed kit
A chilli peppers Seed Kit has been growing in our office for a while. There were squeals of delight from our office when we got a call from the BBC TV programme called the One Show presented by the man legend Adrian Chiles (of Working Lunch and Match of the Day 2 fame). They were in touch with us at really late notice, wanting to feature an aerogarden of ours in a programme about gardening. The aerogarden was shipped up to Birmingham, all was done and dusted and we waited with baited breath; we were set for rave reviews only for it to be spoilt by none other than our very own scot with bulgin biceps and pumping fists, Andy Murray. The programme should have been aired live on Monday 30th June. As many people are aware, with the lacking tennis pedigree existing in the UK, we take every opportunity to show such a sporting nations talents, whether it be Laura Robson, Chris Eaton or Andy Murray. So it happened in the last 16of the Wimbledon Mens championship tournament game between Andy Murray and Richard Gasquet was shuffled from BBC 2 to BBC 1. All i can say was that we were rather dissapointed. Aerogarden pictures would or should have been aired, the chillis were looking pretty good, we are sure you, Adrian and Andy would have agreed!
