What is wind power?
Wind power is an alternative eco friendly method of electricity generation. Large wind turbines are installed in various sites around a country. These wind turbines are moved by the wind which in turn generates electricity. It is a green form of electricity generation as it does not involve emitting CO2. Wind power is still a very small % of the global energy production at around 1%. However, some countries such as Denmark and Spain use wind power at a much higher level. 19% of Denmark’s electricity is generated by wind power. It is important to keep a check on our own energy consumption for the benefit of the planet and our wallets. A good way to do this is with the Wattson Home Energy Meter.
